Mosaic 2-day Intensive Class November

Class dates are Thursday, November 12 and Friday, November 13

Day 1: Thursday, November 12 - 9:00 AM - 12 noon (lunch on your own), 1 PM - 4 PM

9 AM - 12 noon: Safety, prep of board, design. Instruction on scoring/breaking glass, grinding, adhering glass to board.

12 noon - 1 PM: Lunch on your own.

1 - 4 PM: continue working.

Stay overnight in Downtown DeLand if you like and explore our vibrant restaurant scene and Main Street.

Day 2: Friday, November 13 - 9:00 AM - 12 noon (lunch on your own), 1 PM - 3 PM

9 AM - 12 noon: continue working.

12 noon - 1 PM: Lunch on your own.

1 - 3 PM: Grouting and finishing.

This is a fun and stress-free class. We will be creating a flat mosaic from stained glass. Come with a design for a 12" x 12" (or 11" x 14") project, use a photo as inspiration, or make it up as you go along!

$220 for 2 day session. All tools and supplies are included. Need 4 to run the class - if the class is cancelled by me, you will be refunded 100%.

Some extra information for Beginner Mosaics:

We will be working on an approximately 12" x 12" or 11" x 14" board. This mosaic will be suitable for hanging indoors.

If you have any ideas for a design, that's great! If you don't, that's great, too. Some people like to have a visual to look at for inspiration; some like to just make it up as they go along.

A few safety items :

Please wear closed toed shoes (no flip flops). Nobody likes glass in their toes.

If you don't wear glasses, I have safety goggles that must be worn when cutting glass.
