🎸 HELP US KEEP THE BLUES ALIVE! 🎸

The Daytona Beach Blues Society has been proud to bring our community together for LIVE MUSIC JAMS — a place where musicians can play, music lovers can gather, friendships are made, and the blues can continue to thrive.

We want to keep this monthly tradition going!

But the reality is that our monthly jams are currently costing DBBS more than they bring in , and we can't sustain that indefinitely.

Beginning with our November 2026 JAM , the Daytona Beach Blues Society will be requesting a suggested $5 donation per person .

Your $5 donation will help us cover the costs of putting on these monthly jams and allow us to continue providing a place for local musicians and blues fans to come together.

DAYTONA BEACH BLUES SOCIETY’S “BLUES, BURGERS & BREWS” MUSIC JAMS

The Daytona Beach Blues Society “DBBS” is pleased to have our monthly blues music jams to be held on the first Wednesday of each month at the SandTrap Bar & Grill at the Daytona Beach Golf Club, 600 Wilder Blvd, Daytona Beach FL 32114, from 6:00-9:00 PM (extended time if needed)

The host bands are to provide back-line including two guitar amps, bass amp, drum kit, and PA system,

including 2 -3 mics.

The amount of pay to the host bands is currently set at $400 to be paid by the DBBS by funds received through donations and sale of 50/50 tickets and raffles.

The host bands will have an opening set of 45-50 minutes maximum time.

We will have a jam manager who determines the order and time musicians play based on the sign up sheet. The jam manager will make their best effort to make a quick and smooth transition between jam acts so that everyone has the opportunity to have stage time.

Each act will have a time allotment of 10-20 minutes, depending on the number of participating players/acts.

Membership must have benefits, so card carrying members who have signed up by 7:00pm will have priority access to the stage, and will also have one pick of who they would like to perform with.

A FEW RULES:

No liquid refreshments on stage

Have your instruments tuned and ready prior to entering the stage

Please get on and off the stage quickly

Respect the host band’s equipment

Please control the volume

We thank Jimmy Taber and the staff of the SandTrap Bar & Grill for allowing us to host our events at their facility, and for providing us with food and drinks. We appreciate all the talented musicians that participate, and all who join us to help make this a successful event.
