- ➤ Ormond Beach will host the 14th annual Celtic Festival on April 12th and 13th near the east end of the Granada Bridge at The Casements, Rockefeller Gardens, and Fortunato Park. - ➤ After nearly 10 months of construction, the vehicle ramp at the World's Most Famous Beach reopened Saturday, letting local businesses like Daytona Shirt Shop and Sam’s Coal Fired Pizza resume vehicle access—boosting the area's refreshed parking, landscaping, and facilities. - ➤ The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission is planning a three-week bear hunt in December that will allow 187 permits for taking black bears from 31 counties to manage the growing bear population — officials will draft rules by May 7 and vote on them in August while some critics oppose the plan as trophy killing.
