- ➤ Two people were hospitalized Saturday after an SUV crashed near the intersection of Tomoka Farms Road and Dunn Avenue and Daytona Beach firefighters found the vehicle 50 yards off the road in a wooded area—one person was trapped inside when crews extricated the individual. WESH
- ➤ Florida Highway Patrol said two motorcyclists (a 67-year-old man riding a 2022 Suzuki GSX-R1000R and a 25-year-old woman riding a 2021 Kawasaki Ninja 650) hit an alligator on Interstate 4 in Volusia County on Saturday, which caused their vehicles to leave the roadway (the Suzuki rider struck a tree) and both were taken to HCA Lake Monroe Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries while an investigation continued.
