- ➤ Six Embry-Riddle students were named to Aviation Week Network’s 20 Twenties Class on Jan. 6, setting a record for the most awardees from the Daytona campus in the program’s 13-year history. GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Volusia County threatened to rescind over $900K in ECHO grants used by the Historic Preservation Trust (a nonprofit) after inspections showed two historic homes in Daytona Beach were poorly maintained. The trust said it will sell one home in mid-February to fund repairs on the more significant property. The Daytona Beach News-Journal
