Starke Elementary enjoyed a reading event as NASCAR driver Erik Jones visited and unveiled a new Bookworm vending machine that rewards positive behavior with tokens for books + the machine is the sixth installed in local schools, with AdventHealth pledging $5,000 annually to keep it stocked. - ➤ A series of brush fires in Volusia County were contained after incidents on Sunday; a fire at a Daytona campground on Tomoka Farms Road damaged 20 to 30 vehicles while another blaze near I-95 in Port Orange grew to 10 acres between Dunlawton Avenue & SR-400, temporarily closing the highway.
