- ➤ AAA is offering its free Tow to Go service during Daytona Beach Bike Week from Friday, Feb. 27 to Sunday, March 8 and riders may call 855-2-TOW-2-GO (286-9246) for a tow within 10 miles. The last-resort service is available without an AAA membership. The Daytona Beach News-Journal
- ➤ Journalist Thomas S. Brown, known for his work securing pensions for over 1,100 News-Journal employees, died on Feb. 15 (at age 79) in Daytona Beach.
