- ➤ Volusia County Women Who Care launched a permanent endowment today at Halifax Repertory Theater to secure lasting support for local nonprofits. The all-volunteer group will hold quarterly meetings at the Mori Hosseini Center at Daytona State College on May 14, Aug. 13, and Nov. 19 to select nonprofit recipients. Hometown News

- ➤ Embry-Riddle’s Business of Flight Week on the Daytona Beach campus offered students firsthand insights from aviation and aerospace leaders. - ➤ Volusia County will host an event on March 30 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Dr. Joyce M. Cusack Resource Center in DeLand where Community Assistance Division staff will help seniors and low-income residents apply for energy and home improvement programs offering various loan options.
