- ➤ A Deltona teen, Eduardo Espinal-Ramgewan, 17, was arrested after he allegedly poured bleach into his 77-year-old adoptive mother's milk at a home on South Brickell Drive Saturday morning—he now faces charges of poisoning, attempted murder and aggravated abuse of an elderly person. News 6

- ➤ Lake County Fire Rescue is on high alert as dry weather increases the risk of rapidly spreading brush fires across Central Florida; burn bans have been enforced since March 25 in Lake, Brevard, Orange, Seminole, and Volusia counties. Firefighters have put extra resources on standby and urge residents to maintain a 50-foot buffer between structures and vegetation (leftover hurricane damage has added more fuel for potential fires).
