- ➤ Chase Academy, a nonprofit serving special education students in South Daytona, is seeking a new home after its landlord declined to renew its lease. The school, which has 73 students and 30 staff, will remain at South Daytona Plaza through mid-June to finish the academic year. News 6
- ➤ Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University senior Lucas Cohen was chosen as one of 21 nationwide for the RTX Engineering Leadership Development Program after standing out among over 1,000 applicants. - ➤ Oceanfront property owners in New Smyrna Beach are self-funding a natural seawall built with coquina rock to reduce erosion and rebuild dunes after hurricanes.
