  • 41-year-old Deltona resident Earl Myers was arrested Saturday after deputies stopped his truck for a fictitious DOT Exempt plate and broke his window when he argued with them—he faces charges of possessing a counterfeit license plate, driving without a license, driving an unregistered motor vehicle, and obstructing an officer without violence following a similar arrest on April 24.  WNDB

  • Researchers at the University of South Florida found sargassum seaweed levels in the Caribbean and West Atlantic are now 200% above historical records.   • Conviva is opening its eighth care center at 1104 Beville Road in Daytona Beach—next to Aldi.
