- ➤ On May 11, a Daytona Beach woman was nearly forced into her car at gunpoint near Adanson Street and Lee Road—deputies later recovered the stolen Toyota 4Runner used by the suspect, and authorities have released surveillance video asking for help identifying him. FOX 35 Orlando

- ➤ AdventHealth and Heart of Florida United Way partnered for the third year to launch a mental health campaign—Viv ak lapè nan lespri w—that gives the Haitian community tools to talk about their feelings. - ➤ The Florida Department of Health advised Daytona Beach residents to watch for signs of heat exhaustion, such as heavy sweating and fatigue, and heatstroke, which shows as no sweating and a very high temperature, while urging them to stay hydrated and take breaks in cool places this summer.
