  • Delegates from Razom For Ukraine visited Daytona Beach on May 20 as part of the Communities for Ukraine initiative to highlight Ukraine’s ongoing fight and its global impact + they met with local officials and media before heading to Jacksonville.  The Daytona Beach News-Journal
  • Volunteers with the Port Orange Lions and Elks sorted 1,017 donated eyeglasses collected in the Daytona Beach area this April. The glasses were sent to the Oviedo Lions Club for processing & then distributed overseas to help those with limited eye care access.  Hometown News

  • Volusia County Schools is correcting a W-2 reporting error that affected about 7% of its workforce — teachers and staff will receive amended forms at no cost.   • Embry-Riddle hosted a seven-part speaker series at its Daytona Beach campus, concluding in late April.
