- ➤ Daytona Beach is repairing the nearly 100-year-old Main Street Arch and replacing 14 staircases and four ADA ramps along the boardwalk, with the stairs work having begun on June 2 and arch repairs set to finish this summer. The city also plans to extend the boardwalk 295 feet from Breakers Oceanfront Park to Harvey Avenue—pending design approval—and the project will boost access in the area.
