- ➤ Edgewater officer Daniel Rippeon arrested 22-year-old Paul Wert on May 10 just after 10 p.m. outside a closed CVS for allegedly resisting an officer without violence—body camera footage later prompted charges to be dropped on June 4, and Rippeon was placed on administrative leave before he resigned on June 5.
