- ➤ A Winter Park man was bitten by a shark while surfing in New Smyrna Beach on Sunday at about 3 p.m. — he was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries — according to Volusia County Beach Safety. WESH
- ➤ A 71-year-old woman died in a trailer accident in DeLand Sunday near Lake Beresford when a trailer door snapped and struck her head—her husband tried lifting the door with a vehicle jack but could not save her. News 6

- ➤ Deputies shot and killed a man with a knife on Saturday night while two people who were stabbed are recovering + police say they are looking into the incident. FOX 35 Orlando
- ➤ On Saturday night, Daytona Beach officers responded to a stabbing call at a home on Derbyshire Road and fatally shot a knife-wielding suspect who charged during a search for additional victims, while a 16 year old and a 39 year old with stab wounds were taken to a nearby hospital as FDLE leads the investigation.
