- ➤ A man was injured in a shooting outside a residence at 653 Glenhaven Ave in Pierson on Friday—deputies said he was found in his minivan with a neck wound, his coworker shot him before fleeing, and he is now at a nearby hospital in serious but stable condition. WNDB
- ➤ Jerron Singletary was arrested after he broke into his ex's home in Deltona, fired a shot into the ceiling while her friend and sister were inside, and stole a cellphone—deputies tracked the stolen phone and found him hiding under a recreational vehicle in the woods. WESH

- ➤ Four Daytona Beach homeowners will soon move into modern, safe homes as the city replaces condemned houses with new, accessible residences funded by state and federal housing programs.
