- ➤ An 11-year-old boy playing video games at home was struck on Aug. 27 by a bullet that pierced his bedroom wall in a home near Bunnell; Flagler County Sheriff’s deputy Bryan Jackson and his trainee daughter Kailen were target practicing on his property—officials said the bullet likely ricocheted—while the sheriff's office investigates the incident.
