- ➤ SpaceX launched a Falcon 9 rocket carrying Northrop Grumman’s Cygnus mission to the International Space Station from Cape Canaveral on September 14. Eight minutes later its first stage landed on Landing Zone 2—residents in Brevard, Orange, Osceola, Indian River, Seminole, Volusia, Polk, St. Lucie and Okeechobee counties may have heard sonic booms.
