Good morning, Daytona Beach.

On Sept. 6, Daytona Beach International Airport hosted The Arc of Volusia’s Wings for All event that allowed about 100 residents with autism or intellectual disabilities and their families to practice the air travel process.

Participants checked in, passed through security, and boarded a plane — airport staff and crew offered support, and organizers hope to run the event again next year.

The county government announced new Votran routes that went into effect Sunday in parts of Volusia County — adjustments include changes to bus stops on routes 4 and 10N in east Volusia and added trips for routes 30 and 34 in west Volusia.

Riders may notice altered schedules to help improve service reliability.

Experts warn many Florida families may lose affordable health insurance if federal tax credits are cut and Gov. DeSantis does not expand KidCare & nearly half of the 4.7 million people in the ACA marketplace could see costs jump if lawmakers fail to act.
