- ➤ Flooding is causing daily problems for local shops on North Beach Street in Daytona Beach as high tides from the Halifax River force water through storm drains. Employees at The Fishin Hole have built makeshift barriers (boards and sandbags) to slow the water even though fast-driving cars have damaged defenses. News 6

- ➤ Today, heavy rain from the Atlantic is causing flooding on low lying roads and dangerous rip currents along Central Florida beaches—high surf making travel and beach visits risky. Forecasts show the rain and rough seas will continue into the workweek with temperatures holding in the mid to lower eighties. WESH
