- ➤ JetBlue Airways will return to Daytona Beach International Airport on Dec. 4 after a seven-year absence, offering daily nonstop flights from New York and Boston. - ➤ The Florida Department of Health issued a 60-day rabies alert in part of DeLand after an unvaccinated cat tested positive on November 18; the alert covers areas from Voorhis Avenue — New Hampshire Avenue, South Garfield Avenue and South High Street and urges residents and visitors to avoid contact with wild animals. - ➤ Embry-Riddle researchers are testing two safe methods to help people breathe better by using beet juice shots and a device that builds diaphragm strength.
