- ➤ Embry-Riddle alumni and aviation enthusiasts gathered at Daytona Beach International Airport on Dec. 19 to view the last US-registered Douglas DC8 before its retirement by Samaritan’s Purse. The plane, which flew 210 aid missions and delivered 9 million pounds of supplies, was honored at Mission Aviation Day. Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University
