- ➤ Local author Dr. Michelle Lee released her second middle-grade novel, 'The Magic of Someday Soon' on March 3—drawing inspiration from Dunlawton Sugar Mill Gardens (formerly Bongoland) and charming small towns—and will host book launch events on March 7 at Novel Tea Book Shop in Ormond Beach and April 4 at Turtle and Bea Book Boutique in Edgewater. - ➤ VoRide, Volusia County's rideshare service, expanded on March 4 to serve North Ormond and Southeast Volusia (including New Smyrna Beach, Edgewater, and Oak Hill) and now adds night service in mainland Daytona Beach.
